We had a record Eggs turnout today with 3 full flights of 12 players. Perangsang golf course was in good shape although the greens were a little slow in places and some were just hollow tined. We headed out at around 8:00 am into the sun, playing the back 9 first. During the first 2 holes we were followed by howling dogs which did not help the putting concentration.
Play was pretty quick and we were all finished by around 12:30. We then made our way to the Tang Dynasty Restaurant for a beautiful lunch - thanks Andrew for the pre-ordering of the pork and chicken dishes. A few didn't make lunch - including Robert who had to leave for an appointment - hence his request for the first flight (see below)
Results
The outright winner today with a tremendous round of 94 and 42 points was Brian Stubbs. Second place went to Allan McNicoll (on count back from Glen Wombwell) with a score of 96 for 36 points. Full results below:
Rotten Egg Award
Over lunch we discussed potential Rotten Egg Awards and Robert Mulliss' name was mentioned for requesting the first flight as he had to leave early for an appointment and then dithered around after the game resulting in everyone finishing and leaving the club before he did! This was carried unanimously.
