After a rather painless registration at the "special seniors rate" our 2 flights of 8 players got off under beautiful playing conditions to start the round at Perangsang Templer. The course was in good condition and some of the greens were rather tricky with the way the slopes were and the hole position.
The first 9 went smoothly but at the start of the back 9 we were held up slightly by a slow Korean 4 ball 2 flights up ahead. However we finished by 1pm and enjoyed a simple lunch at the clubhouse.
Winner of the day with 38 Stableford points was Kevin Wiggins with myself in second place with 35 points. There were no nominations or candidate for a Rotten Egg Award this week.
