It was a glorious morning with 6 Eggers and 1 guest (David Hughes) turning up to play again at KRTU - having been so impressed with the quality (and value) of this course. Everyone found the club and we duly set off at 8:30 promptly. The course was again in immaculate condition, quite dry and excellent but tricky greens.
By the time we finish at around 1pm it was getting very hot so a few welcome drinks and some food at the comfortable clubhouse restaurant post game was most welcome.
The winner this week, with his best performance to date, was Ian Dickson with 35 points. Runner up was Robert Mulliss with 34 points.
Rotten Egg Award
There were no real nominations this week for the "Rotten Egg Award" till I opened my mouth and recalled I had failed to replace the 150m white marker post on the last hole having had to move it to take my second shot. I was unanimously awarded this much coveted award.
