Tasik Puteri - 9th October 2015

Well what to say about Tasik IT WAS CRAP!!!!!!!!!!

The Tasik nine was a complete disaster even with a good drive you could loose your ball
on the fairway, the grass was so long. The greens were extremely slow .

Putera a little better as the fairways had been cut however the greens were shocking
with patches of thick sand.

We had 11 players with the following scoring

Well Done AllanWright.

Lunch was taken at our normal venue. Andrew Robinson did not play today, but did
join us for lunch.

Our many thanks to Richard Rodwell who paid for the beers as he volunteered that
he had three eggs. Many thanks Richard.

Allan Wright being this weeks winner has chosen Sri Selangor for next weeks game.

Tasik Puteri - 27th March 2015

Only 3 Eggers registered this week for the game at Tasik Puteri so Peter invited his sister Nancy Wingate to join us as a guest ..... so the first time we have had an "egget" play with the group. It was a lovely morning although very humid and hot by the end of the round. The course was in average shape and needs some attention, although the greens were generally ok. We finished by 12:15pm and had lunch at the club.

Results

The winner today was Stuart taylor with a score of 37 points (gross of 84) and Peter Davies after an excellent back 9 (21 points) was runner up with 31 points (gross of 104). Full results below:

Results - Tasik Puteri - 24th October 2014

Report

We had 2 flights this week at Tasik Puteri on a beautiful morning with clear blue skies. Humidity was high making it a tiring round and the going for everyone seemed tough given the scores. Course condition was a mixture of some soggy wet areas and bone dry, hard areas and the greens although good were on the bumpy side.

The 2 four balls made reasonably good time and we then drove back towards Rawang to our usual Chinese restaurant for lunch.

Results

The winner today with 31 points and a gross of 101 was Graham Cadman. Runner up was Brian Stubbs with 29 points. This highlights the hard going it was! I myself just managed to break 100 in one of my worst rounds for a while.

Rotten Egg Award

The Rotten Egg Award was awarded unanimously in record time this morning by a supreme performance by our fellow egger Peter Davies. On being told that the cost of the round for Seniors was RM88 and the cost using a TP book was also RM88 and that we would be collecting RM100 from each player to pay for caddies Peter promptly handed over RM12 and his TP book stating that the voucher was worth RM88 and here was his additional RM12!!! A few of us explained that the voucher allowed the player to use for a cost of RM88. It took about 3 times to explain before Peter realised his mistake. Almost worth a double-yolked rotten egg award I thought
