There were only 6 Eggers who ventured out today at the very quiet Bangi Golf Resort.We managed to tee off early at about 7:50am and were not held up at all during our round. Weather was great and the course was in fairly good condition although the greens had recently been hollow tined and were a little bumpy in places. We were back just after 12 noon and took lunch at the favourite Restoran East of Highway which was excellent.
Results
This has to be an all time record ..... ALL players shot to their handicap or better today ..... the lowest scores were 36 from Cameron and Brian (Cameron was last on count back!!). The winner with an all-time personal best round of gross 78 (45 points) was Stuart Taylor with Mike smith second with 42 points (gross 89). Glen looked disappointed with 3rd place with 39 points!! Rotten Egg Award
Only 2 nominations today .... Brian Stubbs for picking up Peter's ball which was in play .... he thought it was his provisional (well it did have a large 'P' on it!) and Stuart Taylor for complaining about his "bad" back 9 where he scored 22 points as opposed to 23 on the front 9. Stuart was dully given the honour of this prestigious prize.
