Results - KGSAAS - 28th November 2014

There were 7 Eggers today at KGSAAS on a lovely bright morning. The course was a bit on the wet side and the greens were running very slow on the most part. We teed off at around 8:00 and were finished without much holdup and then retired to lunch at the Chinese Restaurant at the club. Food was ordered by Zak and an excellent job he did indeed on this.

Results

We had some good scores today, 30 or more points, but the winner was Stuart Taylor with 38 points and a gross of 83. Runner up was Mike Smith with 36 points and a gross of 96.

Stuart's win was a third week in a row so he kindly decided to buy the drinks today as a kind gesture to his fellow golfers.

Rotten Egg Award

Stuart's kind gesture of buying the drinks was then promptly nominated as a Rotten Egg Award so he picked up one rotten egg for this .... thanks guys!!

Results - Danau Golf Club - 21st November 2014

A half dozen Eggs turned up on Friday morning for the game at Danau Golf Club. It was a beautiful morning with clear skies and an empty golf course so we made it round the course quickly all finishing by 11:30. Course condition was good albeit a bit wet in patches and as always the going was tough on this course so there were no low scores.

We had an excellent lunch post game at Restoran East of the Highway.

Results

Three players were tied on 30 points but on count back on the back 9 played it was Stuart Taylor who won, with second place to Robert Mulliss on count back from Andrew Robinson. Full scores below:

Results - KGPA - 14th November 2014

Seven Eggers showed up this Friday for a leisurely start at KGPA around 9:00am. The Forest 9 was closed so we played Lake and Hills which were in great shape with some wet patches due to the heavy rain recently. Greens were in fine shape. WE finished by around 1:30 and then went to Jarrod & Rawlings for their special pork buffet with some much needed amber nectar.


Results

This course always plays quite tough so there were no outrageous scores. Winner was Stuart Taylor with 34 points and best gross of the day of 87. Runner up on count back was Tony Morris with 33 points from Andrew Robinson also on 33 points. Full results below:

Rotten Egg Award

No award today although Mike Smith was in danger of getting a late award when we all paid for lunch after discussing the bill breakdown and split out in detail and Mike looks up from his phone eventually and asks what the damage was for lunch!
