Last week's winner, Kevin Wiggins, chose Rahman Putra Golf Club for this week's game - a tough little course (as noted on a plaque in the reservation desk area ... see photos).
7 Eggers plus 1 guest played this week and noticeably absent was Kevin Wiggins .... having nominated this course ...... a few mumbles from some of the Eggers were heard!
Anyway it was a glorious but humid day and we all got off on the Hills course around 8:15ish. Although we had a walking group in front we were not overly held up and finished in just over 4 hours. Course conditions were good, although as usual the cow grass was heavy going and there seemed to be water hazards everywhere. Greens were very good but a little slow.
One small incident on the 2nd hole played left Mike Smith with a cut to his leg after tripping and falling in a drain after playing his ball into one of the lakes ....... he brushed this off as "just a graze" and bravely went on playing. (See photos for evidence).
After the game we took lunch at the nearby Heng Yin Chinese restaurant which was very good once we had clarified the difference to the staff between fried rice and five rice!!
Results
Scores at Rahman Putra are generally not that good but this week's winner had a credible 38 points .... Allan McNicoll with a gross of 96 and 38 points ... well done Allan! Second was Tony Morris with 31 points and a gross of 95.

Rotten Egg Award
This week's Rotten Egg Award was awarded in record time ... and in fact prior to us teeing off. Allan McNicoll was awarded this prestigious award for managing to block the entranceway to the bag drop with a queue of cars awaiting and causing a minor traffic jam.
Allan has now accumulated 3 Rotten Eggs so will be treating the Eggers to some refreshments next week ...... cheers Allan.
