We had 10 Eggers on a beautiful morning at Perangsang Templer. Course conditions were very good but there had been some very heavy rain so the fairways were soft and the bunkers all flooded. However the greens were good and deceptively quick as we found out.
Our 3 flights got round in good time then adjourned to the Tang Dynasty Restaurant in Selayang for a feast. Tony made an excellent choice of food and in our small private room we could have been in any top class Chinese restaurant in KL with service to match. Some of the highlights of the lunch were the Iberian black pig ribs to start and the the small abalone with garlic .... all excellent. Drinks were sponsored by Allan McNicoll for his 3 Rotten Egg awards - many thanks Allan.
Results
Scores were not good today and the winner with 32 points (101 gross) was Allan McNicoll. Tied for 2nd place was Graham Cadman and Zak Zainal. Best gross was Zak Zainal and Stuart Taylor both with 94. Full results below:
Rotten Egg Award
After much debate and discussion over lunch the Rotten Egg Award this week was awarded to Glen Wombwell for wetting his golf shorts before the game commenced. He had some lame excuse that this was due to switching off a running shower in the changing rooms .... but we all suspect he pissed his pants!!
